Description Curtain airbags are installed inside the headliner (LH and RH) and protect the driver and passenger from danger when side crash occurs.
Removal 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least thirty seconds before beginning work. 2. Remove the roof trim. (Refer to Body - "Roof trim assembly") 3.
Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper") 3. Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting screws. Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the BSD sensor.
Inspection 1. Check the condenser fins for clogging and damage. If clogged, clean them with water, and blow them with compressed air. If bent, gently bend them using a screwdriver or pliers. 2. Check the condenser connections for leakage, and repair or replace it, if required.
