| Removal |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the rear bumper cover.
(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover") |

Disconnect the connector (A) from the parking assist sensor.

Pull out the sensor (A) by opening the sensor holder (B) out.

| 1. |
Install the rear ultra sensor after connecting the connector. |
| 2. |
Install the rear bumper cover. |
| 3. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
Troubleshooting Examples of False-Alarm Occurrence from system characteristics (It’s not a problem) – Characteristics of EM Wave : EM Waves are reflected against all material and especially metal very well. Reflections of EM Waves are varies with the shape of object.
Inspection 1. Check the condenser fins for clogging and damage. If clogged, clean them with water, and blow them with compressed air. If bent, gently bend them using a screwdriver or pliers. 2. Check the condenser connections for leakage, and repair or replace it, if required.
