Description Fuel Pressure Control Valve is installed on the high pressure fuel pump and controls fuel flow flowing into the injectors in accordance with the ECM signal calculated based on various engine condition.
Signal Waveform
Replacement 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/ recycling/ charging station. 3. When the engine is cool, drain the engine coolant from the radiator. 4. Remove the expansion valve cover (A).
Inspection 1. Ignition "OFF” 2. Disconnect the connector of mode control actuator. 3. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the defrost mode when connecting 12V to the terminal 3and grounding terminal 7. 4. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the vent mode when connecting in the reverse.
